Muhammad Mansoor Afaq () born 17 January 1962, known as Mansoor Afaq (), is a Pakistani Urdu poet, playwright, columnist and religious scholar. He wrote famous plays for Pakistan Television and, after migration to Britain, entered journalism. Besides his social political activism, Mansoor Afaq is also a novelist, short story writer, drama director and executive director of Society of Culture and Heritage, UK.〔〔〔
Mansoor Afaq is a considerable film critique as well.〔 He has been a film and TV program columnist for Daily Jang,〔 Nawa-i-Waqt over a long period of time. He has delivered lectures for East Film Academy under the flag of Society of Culture and Heritage. He has written a book "A shot of butterfly" in Urdu language.
== Early life ==
Mansoor Afaq was born in Mianwalion 17 January 1962. He received education at the Government College Mianwali. He also studied at the Jamia Shamia Siddiqiah Mianwali, and Jamia Akbaria Mianwali. He obtained a M.A. from the Punjab university. In 1990 his family migrated to Lahore.
